Mangalla Fact finding assessment

Key findings: 
  • Lack of shelter and NFIs IDPs were observed under trees with ongoing rain season the population are at high risk
  • Estimated population figure is between 3500-4000 individuals mostly dominated by women.
  • No food items were observed in households visited.
  • No access for food feeding on wild Vegetables.
  • No health care services to treat common diseases like malaria, diarrhea, typhoid, fungi infections
  • There only two boreholes serving both the IDPs and host community, hence drinking water directly from river Nile.
