Regional Working Group on Accountability to Affected People (AAP) & Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)

The Regional Working Group on AAP and PSEA is a technical coordination group that aims to provide tailored support to countries and emergency responses across Asia and the Pacific. The Working Group, established in late 2020 and endorsed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Regional Network of Asia Pacific in December 2020, supports country teams including response operations to deliver national and global commitments to accountability and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse. This coordination group works to ensure that field teams have the right guidance and tools that are contextualised to their own settings, to design and undertake their inter-agency approaches relating to AAP and PSEA. This Working Group meets on a quarterly basis and ad hoc as required.
