When we create a new site in, we add list of clusters or sectors provided by that country office. Site focal points can then manage the cluster pages and upload the content.

When we add those clusters, we add very basic information such as cluster name and associate it with the global cluster and the lead agency, but that is not enough as we have the possibilities to capture more details information such as NGO participation, cluster lead contacts, etc. Those information should be provided by the country office to capture all the cluster details in their relevant site.

Site focal points with ‘Manager’ role can follow the steps given below to provide the rest of cluster specific information;

  1. Log-in to your website
  2. Go to the Content tab on the main page

    Find cluster content type

  3. In the Type drop-down list, select Cluster/Sector and click on the Apply button to display the content type ‘Cluster for your site.

  4. Against the cluster e.g. Health cluster, click on the 'edit' link to edit the cluster details
  5. Add the necessary information you have available and click on 'Save' button.
