Pakistan: Afghan Refugees and Undocumented Afghan Repatriation 25 Nov - 1 Dec 2018

Repatriation of Afghan refugees was 10% more compared to 144 refugees that repatriated between 18 and 24 November 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans increased by 42% compared to 436 individuals that returned in the preceding week. Some 142 (89%) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 550 (89%) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance. UNHCR has suspended the voluntary repatriation program from 1 December 2018 until 28 February 2019 for the winter break.
