Response monitoring: Toolbox
At all levels of the monitoring framework proper tools are required. There is not, at present, a common global coherent approach on a set of complementary tools supporting the full monitoring framework, however below you will find links to individual tools to assist in planning and conducting response monitoring.
A set of key messages for answering frequently asked questions on response monitoring, its processes and products. It is available here.
Standard Response Monitoring Presentation
As many humanitarian actors may not be familiar with response monitoring, trainings can be organised in-country introducing the concepts presented in the response monitoring guidance and periodic monitoring report guidance. A standard response monitoring presentation can be found here.
Humanitarian Response Monitoring Framework template
The response monitoring framework is a set of practices, performed by all humanitarian actors, that facilitates the collection and analysis of data on the humanitarian response along the cycle. These practices for response monitoring are codified in a response monitoring framework document. A template for the response monitoring framework document can be found here.
The Humanitarian Dashboard is designed to facilitate the consolidation of needs assessment and response information. It provides a structured format for the collection of data and the presentation of a shared analysis of a humanitarian situation. The Dashboard supports both the HPC as well as the consolidation of information in sudden-onset emergencies.

The Indicator Registry has its own space on this site; access it here.

Humanitarian Profile Support Guidance
The objective of the Humanitarian Profile Support Guidance is to provide an overview of definitions, methods and good practice on how to derive overall, inter-sectoral humanitarian population figures.
