Violence during conflict / Прояви насильства в умовах конфлікту

The objective of the report is to present data on the various manifestations of violence (psychological, physical, economic, sexual) that internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those who have returned to their place of residence (non-IDPs) are facing.

Regions where research was conducted (17 regions): Dnipropetrovska, Donetska, Zakarpatska, Zaporizka, Kirovohradska, Kyivska, Luhanska, Lvivska, Odeska, Poltavska, Rivnenska, Sumska, Khersonska, Cherkaska, Chernihivska oblasts and Kyiv.
Respondents (IDPs and non-IDPs separately) were divided into 2 categories: women and elderly. Each of the categories was divided into subcategories. Women: pregnant and heads of households/providers. Elderly: women and men.
Then specific weight of respondents who faced different types of violence in the past 12 months was counted, and those who did violence were determined. Moreover, the reasons for people not to report on the violent incidents were found out. All this made it possible to measure characteristics of social well-being and spheres where violence occurs more often.
