Information Management Working Group
The Sudan IM Working Group
The Sudan Information Management Working Group (IMWG) comprises technical persons from UN Agencies, Local and International NGOs operating in Sudan. Modalities are underway to have the government counterparts become fully integrated in the activities of the IM Work Group. Members of the Sudan IMWG regularly meet to discuss:
- Better ways and systems to facilitate the exchange of information;
- IM capacities and procedures on data sharing;
- Standardization and harmonization of datasets among partners;
- Best practices in the conduct of assessments, in a coordinated manner.
The Working Group operates in line with the IASC Operational Guidance on Responsibilities of Cluster/Sector Leads and OCHA Information Management.
The IM Working Group is chaired by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and co-chaired by the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator’s Office (UNRCO)
