Subject/Objective:
Assess the needs of South Sudanese refugees new arrivals and old caseload.
Verify new refugee arrivals figures and needs.
Methodology:
In El Leri, the team arrived at 3922 individuals as the verified number which was lower than what was
reported by HAC. However, HAC said some of the SSRs had scattered across the gold mine fields and
further 2,000 SS refugees (Nuer) had move to Khartoum and White Nile as the majority of the refugees
in El Leri are from Chuluk tribe and less than 500 are from Dinka. In Abu Jubaiha locality the verified
number of newly arrived refugees is 1, 893.
