Subject/Objective: 
1. Monitor water supply situation 2. Verify reports of new arrivals of South Sudanese refugees from South Darfur, assess their condition as well as potential further influx
Methodology: 
- Meetings and discussions with community leaders and partners on the ground - Observation
Key findings: 
- Malaria is the most prevalent disease but there has been a dramatic reduction in cases over the past week. - UNHCR-WES arrangement for water trucking expired on 26 October and consequently water trucking stopped. Refugees are currently fetch water from ponds near the camp. - Refugees have constructed ad hoc shelters with locally available materials and plastic sheeting.
