Inter-agency floods assessment mission to Kabkabiya, North Darfur

Subject/Objective: 
From 02-04 of September 2014, OCHA led a rapid inter-agency flood assessment to Kebkabiya to verify the reported effect of flood on families, livestock and crop farms. The team met with authorities and community leaders, farmers and visited some affected families in Kebkabiya town. Due to logistical and time constrains, the team was not able to visit the affected villages in Kabkabiya rural areas. Participants | OCHA (lead), UNHCR, WFP, FAO, IOM, SMoH, WES, Kebkabiya Smallholders Charitable Society (KSCS), and Oxfam America.
