Child Protection

The Southern Turkey Child Protection Sub-Cluster (CPSC) is the forum for coordination and collaboration on child protection in emergencies, in North Syria. The CPSC is comprised of approximately 80 partners including, UN, INGO, Syrian NGO and government agencies operating in 7 governorates. The objective of the CPSC is to protect and promote the rights of children affected by the conflict in North Syria and ensure they have access to remedies and are provided with timely, effective and comprehensive needs-based care and assistance. 

NORTHERN SYRIA CHILD PROTECTION MONITORING FRAMEWORK

he Southern Turkey Child Protection Sub-Cluster (CPSC) has initiated the implementation of a situation and response monitoring mechanism adapted from the global Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) Monitoring Toolkit in order to collect reliable information to support prioritization and targeting of interventions and to improve quality of programs. The information produced will also be used for advocacy with donors, government and implementing agencies when necessary.
