Pakistan IPC Acute Food Security Analysis Maps (Jan - Jun 2015)

Pakistan Integrated Food Security Phase Classification has completed first round acute analysis for year 2015

  • The nationwide Integrated Food Security Phase Classification depicts that out of 148 Districts, 59 districts are classified in Phase 1 (Generally Food Secure/Minimal Food Insecure), 56 Districts were classified in phase 2 (Moderately Food Insecure/stressed), 29 districts are classified in phase 3 (highly food insecure require immediate attention/crisis), while only 4 are classified in phase 4 (severely food insecure require immediate response/emergency).
     
  • These results were achieved through food security analysis carried out by more than 400 food security experts from government, academia, UN agencies, civil society organizations and research institutes in provincial/regional level workshops conducted from Mar - Jun 2015.
