GBV training

The trainings will be led by the inter-agency GBV Guidelines Training Specialist, Iman Qassis in coordination with the GBV Sub-Cluster in Palestine chaired by UNFPA and will be delivered in Arabic.

As the new Guidelines are focused on GBV prevention and risk mitigation across all sectors of humanitarian response, including Health, it is imperative that our country-level teams are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement this critical tool. I therefore strongly encourage our participation at this event.
The Guidelines were drafted via extensive consultation with Health and other cluster and sector colleagues at the global and field levels, and have been designed to be as practical and user-friendly as possible. As such we are certain you will find them of great use to support your day-to-day Health programming, and this training will, therefore, provide a valuable opportunity for sector partners to learn more about how to implement the recommendations and monitor results. The training will allow us to adapt and contextualize the recommendations in the Guidelines to suit the specific context of Palestine.

Additional information, including downloadable copies of the Guidelines and the Health-specific guide are available at
