Nigeria: Shelter/CCCM(DMS) Shelter/NFI Dashboard- as at May 2019

The dashboard highlights the response provided by Shelter/NFI Sector partners since January 2019. In May alone, 7,544 households benefited from emergency shelter solutions which included construction of emergency shelters and distribution of emergency shelter kits and repair kits, mainly in Bama, Damboa, Dikwa, Gajiganna, Monguno, Maiduguri, Pulka and Rann in Borno State, who included the new arrivals in Damboa, Pulka, Bama and Rann in Borno State. This brings the total assisted since beginning of the year to 18,621 households. 39 households benefited from housing repairs and improvement interventions making 1,753 households assisted so far in 2019. Transitional shelter solutions have been provided to 70 households this far. To complement the provision of shelter solutions, 4,983 households received NFIs. This brings the total assisted, with NFIs, since the beginning of the year to 21,871 households.
