NGA - 2018.11.15 Shelter & CCCM-UNHCR PDM - Shelter Kit_Pulka,Gwoza October -2018

In 2018 UNHCR continued to effectively respond to shelter needs of returnees in Pulka, Gwoza LGA in Borno State. A total of 620 households of 3,100 individuals were reached with shelter repair kits and cash component. The shelter repair kits aims at ensuring coordinated and adequate delivery of transitional shelters to respond to the needs of returnees in facilitating access to durable shelter solutions towards recovery and integration. This is prioritised through the provision of shelter kit materials to complement the returnee’s efforts in construction/rehabilitation of their shelters for a substantial beginning, which can be built upon. It also includes a cash grant to allow flexibility for returnees to supplement according to their specific needs.
