During the Cash WG Meeting on Monday 6th February, considerable discussion was had on ensuring humanitarian assessments are conducted using objective criteria and ideally common indicators. Agreement that the Cash WG should formulate a TF to develop common cash and market indicators for Libya and ideally common questions that can be inserted into household surveys. The overall aim is to ensure the Cash WG is capturing reliable data to inform cash and market specific the evidence gathering needs (see Cash WG Evidence Mapping), primarily by incorporating standard indicators and questions into existing: • multi-sector assessments such as the MSNA, • sector surveys such as the WaSH pre-project plans, and • organisation specific assessments such as the CBI beneficiary screening and post-distribution monitoring.
