Kenya Initial Rapid Assessment (KIRA) of Priority needs for Baragoi displaced Population

Subject/Objective: 

1. Conduct an assessment through KIRA methodology of priority needs of internally displaced population arising from insecurity in Baragoi area.

2. Meet with GOK and Partners involved in Baragoi and Isiolo.

3. Review Protection issues of the IDP and host community and make recommendation on action to be taken

Methodology: 

Using the KIRA methodology, the team will use coordinated assessments approach in which partnership by humanitarian actors is encouraged which will result in shared report with the broader humanitarian community to identify the needs of affected populations.
This assessment is designed to give the affected population a "voice" to articulate their priority needs after the sudden onset displacement caused by the killing of Police officers in Baragoi.
