Um Qasr Port Assessment

The Um Qasr port has been a last resort option for the humanitarian supply chain in Iraq for many years. The objective of this assessment was to: clarify and document all requirements for importation of goods through the port; and identify structures and assess the feasibility of setting up bonded and non-bonded warehouse space, which could be used as a transit hub for WFP and the humanitarian community. These details are then used to update the Logistics Capacity Assessment for Iraq.
