Humanitarian Response Situation Report: Iraq IDP Crisis May 2016

Subject/Objective: 

To focus on geographic areas where fewer actors are present and will work both in camp and non-camp settings but are not limited to, in Kirkuk, Diyala and Salahadeen.

Methodology: 

Rapid multi-sectoral assessments have been completed by SC, our partners, and joint inter-agency UN Agency and INGO rapid assessment teams. The thematic focus Cluster and working group leads are providing coordination at national level (Erbil) and facilitate working groups/sub-clusters at Governorate level in Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk in particular include:- Child protection, Education, Food security and Livelihoods, Wash, NFI and Shelter, and Health.

Key findings: 

Figures relating to key beneficiary statistics especially on Number of people affected (include source), Number of target beneficiaries (include % of target vs. affected), Number of beneficiaries reached so far (include % of reached vs. target) *Children are based on estimate, and Number of new beneficiaries reached since last SitRe
