Education Cluster Iraq IDP Camps Education Needs Assessment


1. Generate recommendations to improve access to quality education
2. Identify reasons for children being excluded from accessing education and ECCD (in particular specific vulnerable groups).
3. Identify gaps in the provision of quality education (measuring against Minimum standards)
4. Determine the class level and skills of children in camp and non-camp settings.
5. Gain feedback from Key Informants on the current Education response.


1. Secondary data review, to be used both as a source of data and to inform priority themes for the assessment.
2. Questionnaire (quantitative) interviewing parents and teachers uses an on-line assessment tool in camp locations, camps are to be allocated and shared by cluster members.
