Guidance for IASC Gender Marker Codes

The purpose of this guiding document is to support CHF partners in ensuring gender equality and gender awareness activities are mainstreamed within CHF project activities.
The IASC Gender Marker is a tool that codes on a 2-0 scale (see table below) whether or not a humanitarian project is designed to ensure that women, men, boys and girls of all ages will benefit equally from the intervention. The purpose of gender codes is to increase gender responsiveness in humanitarian actions and enhance their effectiveness.
