RAF assessment for Natural Disaster affected population in Nuristan Province (10 Feb 17)

Assessment of Avalanche affected families in (Bargimatal & Paroon) of Kunar province.
Direct Observation
Key findings: 
According to the joint team consist of government multi sector organization, ARCs, IMC medical doctors & the host community observation & physically assessment, they found some accurate data which shows there were 52 people were killed, 25 more injured, 76 shelters were completely destroyed, around 340 livestock were killed, 700 trees were damaged, as it was very heavy caseload of avalanche, Mr. Ashraf Ghani himself visited the area & order to dispatch the relief items through helicopter by government on 10-Feb-17, as well Mr. Ghani offer them 85000-AF per family for the shelter reconstruction, 100000-AF for per death & 50000-AF per injury, As well ARCs found 26 families eligible for HAP criteria & recommended them for NFI, Food, Hygiene & some tents.
