RAF assessment for Natural Disaster affected population in Kunar Province (31 Jan 17)

Subject/Objective: 
Assessment of Rain Fall affected families in (Asadabad, Watapur, Nurgal, Dara-i-Peach) of Kunar province.
Methodology: 
Direct Observation
Key findings: 
According to the joint team (IOM, RRD, IMC, ANDMA) observation & physically assessment, they found 16 families eligible for HAP criteria in the above mentioned districts, who have lost their NFIs, food, as well they were in urgent need of winter clothing items, as decided in OCT meeting IOM will provide NFI to Nurgal district affected families as well winter clothing module kits to those families where IMC providing NFI kits, IMC will provide NFI to Asadabad, Watapur and Dara-i-Peah districts affected families & ANDMA will refer the caseload to WFP for food, further detail of assistance in the below paragraphs. Team 01 IOM: According to the assessment outcomes IOM found 2-families in Nurgal district & recommended for 2-BM, 2-FM, 2-WCM, 2 food packages Team 02 IMC: According to the assessment outcomes IMC found 06-families in Asadabad district, 03 families in Watapur District, 05 families in Dara Peach district all 14 families recommended for 14-household item kit, 14 Winter clothing modules kits, 14 food packages Note: the recommended winter clothing items for both teams will provide by IOM & food by WFP
