Joint need assessment of IDPs in Mehterlam district of Laghman

Key findings: 

The affected families have displaced form Alishang and Mehterlam districts to the centre of Laghman province due to conflict between government and opposite groups in the area. As reported, it was dangerous conflict they compelled to leave the area. Now they are safe but left the area in on going conflict so left all essential home appliances in the place of origin and nothing brought. a need assessment conducted and18 families selected for emergency assistance.

18 families and 123 individuals, the average household size for this caseload is 6.83 person
100% of the beneficiaries has listed food as first priority. 100% have listed NFI as second priority fallowed by winterization and health as their third priority needs.
Recommendations:
Base on assessment team’s observations, the families are living in extremely bad condition therefore the team recommended them for emergency assistance.
