IDPs Assessment in Kunduz city of Kunduz Province (03 May 2018)

Subject/Objective: 

To identify Khanabad district IDPs in Kunduz city.

Key findings: 

Recently some families have been displaced from Lalakai area of Khanabad district to Kunduz city. The main reasons of their displacement were practiced harassment, extortion, taxation and etc by two local commanders in the area. On 24 April 2018, Kunduz IDP screening committee meeting took place and one joint assessment team was tasked to assess the mentioned families in Kunduz city. From 29 Apr - 03 May 2018, they assessed 103 families and verified 91 real IDPs. Assessment completed.
