HEAT Assessment for IDPs in Kunduz city of Kunduz Province (30 May 2017)

To identify Qalaizal & Khanabad IDPs in Kunduz city.

HEAT Assessment
Key findings: 
On 06 May 2017, NSAG managed to overrun Qalaizal district and due to ongoing conflict hundreds families have displaced. On 07 May, there was Ad-Hoc OCT Meeting and based on DoRR initially reported 1880 families have been displaced to from Qalaizal district to Qalaizal desert, Shirkhan Border and Kunduz Centre. In this regard 6 joint assessment teams established to identify displaced families. From 06 - 30 May, 1768 families assessed and 644 families verified. Assessment completed.
