HEAT assessment for conflict induced IDPs in Lashkargah district of Hilmand province (17 August 2017) - Second Phase

Subject/Objective: 
Security context in Helmand province is extremely volatile since last year due to continue conflict between AOGs and the government authorities in Lashkargah, Nawa, Nadali, Marja, Sangin, Nahri Siraj and Garamsir districts of Helmand province. The households within the conflicts areas couldn’t cope with the conflict and they are displaced from their origin villages and settled in Lashkargah city which is secured and control by the government forces. The joint assessment team conducted joint assessment in order to find out affected people, information about damages, priority needs, and recommended assistance (Who, When, How should be assisted, By which Organization).

Key findings: 
The joint assessment team identified 127 HHs in Lashkargah city and recommended for the multi‐purpose cash assistance to all 127 HHs.
