HEAT assessment for conflict IDPs in Kandahar / Dand district of Kandahar province (03 October 2017)

Subject/Objective: 
Due to armed conflict and fighting between AOGs and ANSF in Kandahar province and neighboring provinces of Kandahar, DoRR and ANDAM have reported displacement in Kandahar city and in surrounding districts of Kandahar province. The Joint Assessment Team conducted assessment in order to find out the affected people, information about damages, priority needs, and to recommend assistance (Who, When, How should be assisted, By which Organization).

Key findings: 
Based on assessment team’s direct observations house-house, these conflict affected families are living extremely in bad condition. therefore, the team recommend them for emergency assistance i.e food, NFIs, Hygiene, and Cash for other needs for all 32 identified IDP families.
