HEAT assessment of Conflict IDPs Balkh province (20 July 2017)

Subject/Objective: 
Joint assessment conducted between 10 – 20 July,2017. Rapid assessment reported 54 out of 258HHs identified as real conflict affected IDP as accepted deserving for humanitarian emergency assistance. The majority of HHs whom had arrived to Mazar-e Sharif with their house commodities and without food stocks. Close to all of displaced families are jobless and have no income to replace their house assets or food stocks. HHs had borrowed money after displacement to pay for rent or transportation. As reported, 24% of HHs have debt over 8.000-AFA, around 30% between 2.000 to 8.000-AFA, close to 6% of them debt less than 2.000. Households reported either living with host families or in rented accommodation with poor facility.
