To identify Flood Affected Families in Yaftal-e-Sufla district of Badakhshan Province

Methodology:

Key findings: 

On 17 Apr 2018, based on IOM & ANDMA initial report 6 families affected due to heavy rainfall in Cheshma bed village of Faizabad city. The joint assessment team consist of IOM & ANDMA conducted assessment yesterday on 17 April 2018 and verified two HHs with five families that are in need of assistance as their houses are severely damaged by the heavy rainfall and currently they are living with host families in the same village. The assessment team has recommended food and NFIs items for these affected families in order to protect them from any further harm or disaster. As OCHA coordinated with partners, IOM will cover NFIs and ANDMA will provide food items.
