OCHA's Information Tools in Action

PURPOSE OF THE TOOLBOX :

OCHA’s Information Management Toolbox is an online space for OCHA’s Information Management staff to access current and curated information tools, services, and systems to support humanitarian response and preparedness coordination. The Toolbox is the authoritative reference for OCHA information management tools and systems. The IM Toolbox is an essential part of every Information Management Officer’s packing list - for all phases of humanitarian response and preparedness work.

SCOPE :

OCHA Information Management Officers are the primary Toolbox clients. The Toolbox could also be useful to Cluster Information Management Coordinators, all OCHA staff, and other humanitarian Information management practitioners.

The Toolbox contains core products and services that OCHA delivers at the field level. The Toolbox is a resource for Information Management Officers seeking standard basic versions of OCHA tools.

OFFLINE AND MOBILE

The IM Toolbox is currently presented as an online tool for desktop and mobile. Future iterations will support offline functionality.

Each section of the Toolbox has a brief introduction, provides the tool itself, gives examples of the tool in use, and shows relevant links for reference and inspiration.
